Guelph police are, once again, reminding drivers to lock their cars after ten thefts from vehicles were reported overnight on Sept. 11.
Police said cash, bank cards, phones and other property were taken from unlocked vehicles.
Streets that were targeted include: Cityview Drive, Lawrence Avenue, Goldenview Drive, St. Andrew Street, Keating Street, Fleming Road, Division Street and King Street.
“This everyday crime is easily avoided by locking your cars, keeping valuables out of sight or removed from your vehicle and parked in a well-lit and visible area where possible,” police said in a media release.
They are asking anyone who falls victim to this crime to report to police.
