A Free Family Day Figure Skating Show taking place at the Sleeman Centre will be held in memory of a local boy that died tragically ten years ago. Family Day is close to the Anniversary of Nick Lambden’s Death, who passed after being struck in the head by a hockey puck while playing with his friends on an outdoor rink.
The Show will include several big names from the ice skating world, and will be hosted by Olympic silver medalist Elizabeth Manley. The Guelph Figure Skating Club will also take part and members of Lambden’s old Hockey Team that have kept in touch will also be on hand.
The show is taking place on Monday at 6:00pm following the Guelph Storm Game.
The show is being presented by the Nicolas Lambden Children Foundation and will be hosted by Olympic Silver Medalist Elizabeth Manley. The show will also include 3 time champion Emanuel; Sandhu, Jozef Sabovcik, Richard Dornbush, Dan Hollander and Rory Flack.
