As much as I love to jog, I am taking it much easier in this weather. I thought getting up at 6am this morning and going out would be beating the hot spell, but no, that wasn't the case. It was already 20 degrees. You just don't realize how the weather can hit you when it's this hot so please do yourself a favour and stay away from anything exerting.
The forecast is calling for temps in the low 30's but the humidex should be in the low 40's right through this Friday.
Remember this weekend we celebrate not only Festival Italiano but it's also the beginning of the Elora festival. Our Magic compass will be at both events. Save up that appetite. The food is just outstanding at the Italian Canadian Club, and remember they are still holding their Spaghetti Eating Contests at 11pm both Saturday and Sunday.
