It’s going to be an “interesting” weekend at the Hannah house. We have a new member in the family. His name is “Loki” (named after the Greek god of Mischief…trust me…it suits him). He is an 8 month old jet black long haired kitten/cat that thinks he owns the place! We also have an 85 pound chocolate lab and two other cats. I don’t know exactly how my house became so over run with animals. I just woke up one day and they were all there. Anyway, this is the weekend we put up the Christmas tree. Something tells me Loki is going to see that tree as his personal toy. Something to be climbed and explored. Oh boy. Remember the scene in Christmas Vacation where the squirrel jumps out of the tree and everybody freaks out? It might be similar. As long as it doesn’t end like the scene from the same movie where the cat eats the Christmas lights. “Clark, if you don’t mind I would like to keep the chair. We’ll fumigate it and fix it up”. So the plan is we are going to put the tree up and leave it undecorated for a week or so and see how it goes. I’ll let you know what happens. I did my outside lights last weekend. This is me on the roof last weekend. Play safe!
