Brant OPP say a woman had died in a single vehicle crash on Highway 403.
it happened around 6:30 this morning, just east of Garden Avenue. Police say the car attempted to
change lanes, but lost control and rolled several times in a ditch, ejecting the driver.
A 56-year old woman from Oxford County was pronounced dead at the scene.
Eastbound lanes of the 403, will be closed for several hours.
Guelph police are looking for witnesses to an assault over the weekend.
Around 2 Sunday morning, police and EMS workers were called to the area of Wyndham and MacDonell
Streets about a man bleeding. The victim was found to be bleeding significantly from the head.
He was transported to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police are searching for a third suspect in the attack and robbery of a man last Thursday.

A 54-year old Guelph man faces charges of criminal harassment and uttering threats in connection
to a number of phone messages left at a provincial support program.
Police say the messages had extreme profanity, were beligerent and threatening in nature.
Police say the man had past behaviour that kept him from entering the Guelph location.
There was an attempted break-in at a business on Scottsdale Drive yesterday.
A rock was thrown through a side window, damaging several display items.

Police say culprits got in by kicking in the back door. the entire home was ransacked.

Provincial Police were called to a disturbance early this morning at a business on County Road 7 in
Centre Wellington Township. Police say a 36-year old woman from Trenton was assaulted by her
partner. A 39-year old man, also from Trenton, is charged with assault.
He has a court date in Guelph next month.
A 47-year-old man from Kitchener was killed in a motorcycle
collision Sunday. Police have identified him as Randy Robb.
Provincial police from Elgin County say the collision involved
two motorcycles and a car.
Police say three others were injured — a Kitchener woman who was driving
the second motorcycle had serious injuries while two people in the
car had minor injuries.

A male victim has died in hospital after being shot in west-end

around 6 p-m for an assault call and as they arrived, shots were
fired at an apartment complex.
Paramedics say a male believed to be in his 20’s was found
suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso and was rushed to
hospital where he later died.
Police say they are looking for at least one suspect.
Sarnia native Shawn Burr — who spent most of his 16 years in the
N-H-L with Detroit — has died at the age of 47.
Dave Goetze, who runs the Shawn Burr Foundation, tells the
Detroit Free Press that Burr died after suffering massive brain
trauma when he fell at his home in St. Clair, Michigan.
Burrr played with the Red Wings until 1995, then played for San
Jose and Tampa Bay before retiring in 2000.
